Lode Runner: The Legend Returns
Lode Runner: The Legend Returns was released in 1994 by
Sierra On-Line. It was developed by
Presage Software Development Company.
It is a modernized version of the classic Lode Runner. It has much-improved
graphics and sound, as well as plenty of new tools that you can play with,
but ultimately it is very similar to the Lode Runner of old.
There are versions for 3 computer platforms: Windows 3.1, Macintosh, and MS-DOS.
The Windows version also works under Windows 95/98. The MS-DOS version does
not work under any version of Windows, as far as I know.
There is also a version from Natsume
for the Sony Playstation.
Lode Runner: The Legend Returns was made obsolete by the release of a follow-up,
Lode Runner On-Line.
