Saved games of Championship Lode Runner (Level 10 - 50) Requires: ApplePC 2.52beta, Championship Lode Runner disk image A good game never dies. Championship Lode Runner is one of the greatest puzzle games ever. Every level has a surprise for you. There is a new trick in every level, giving me hours of fun. It proves a real puzzle game is not dependent on how good, how 3D the interface is. When the game was first released, I played it on Apple II. I was under 10 and cannot have that much time to go through a lot of it. So I thought I never can after the Apple II was dumped. Now thanks to the Apple II emulator, I restart all over again. And this time I can save and load games such easier. Here I collected saved games of this wonderful game to let people jump over levels they got stuck in, although finding out how to solve it is increasing rewarding as the level is more difficult. Instructions: Install ApplePC 2.52beta to c:\apple, and copy the Championship Lode Runner disk image to c:\apple\do\ch_lode.do. Copy the saved game to c:\apple also, according to the file name. In the ApplePC menu, load the saved game as an image file. Note: 1) I skipped level 1 to 9 because they are not that really difficult. 2) The saved games are actually snapshots of the Apple II emulator memories at the moment of entering a new level. Sometimes I saved the game, say level 50, right after I passed the previous level , ie. 49. So the screen shows up level 49 initially when you load level 50. It may offer some hints as to how I passed level 49. 3) The last level is exceedingly difficult. I actually split it into several saved games to show the steps I took.
