Add-On Puzzles for LodeRunner: The Legend Returns Created by Bill Ingram bing@csn.net 1/7/98 --------------------------------------------------- This is a Duck Hunt. You are looking for the one level with the Duck. Of course, you could cheat and jump to each level and eventually find the right one, but that wouldn't be fun, would it? As you enter each level, you'll notice that there will be several exits from the level. Some exits will take you forward through your quest. Some will send you backwards to levels you've already played. And still others will send you on wild goose chases that don't lead to the Duck. The keys to the colored doors are usually buried somewhere in the puzzle. If you don't bother with any keys, you will not make it past the first few levels. The Orange doors will bump you into the second level of puzzles. The Red doors will bump you into the third levels and a Green door on one of the levels will lead to the Duck. Yes, these puzzles are designed to be difficult. Often, the objects you will need will be buried in tough-to-get places. And, sometimes, taking the easy looking path will lead to a trap that you can't get out of. Don't be discouraged. There are several valid paths through the puzzle. It might be helpful to map your progress by noting what exits lead to which puzzles. Upload them so I can see what you've done. -- Bill Hints Below: Use them if you get stuck. 1: You need to walk on a monk's head. 2: You don't want to accidently set off all the bombs in the room. 3: Detonate a bomb in the middle of the ladder. 4: Get the Jackhammer first. 5: Kill the monks and make them get the gold you can't reach. 6: Don't go in any of the teleporters until you've cleared away that one block in the lower right. 7: Destroy the ladder. 8: Correct placement of bombs is needed. 9: Walking on heads is needed again. Don't kill the monks too early. 10: Be careful you don't destroy floors you'll need later. 11: See #10 12: Note the fall-through floors. Dig for bombs. 13: Don't drop into holes you can't get out of. 14: Dig before setting the bombs. 15: Conserve your bombs.
