hints on Chris Wei's Homemade Lode Runner Levels _________________________________________________ level 1: Assassination This Level is fairly easy, there is only one monk, but the hard part is, since the level is in dark, you don't know where he is going to reappear once you kill him. level 2: Where are the Bombs? The trick here is that you will NEVER win without at least one bomb, but there doesn't seem to be any. Here is a spoiler: They are hidden in each CORNER of the turf you walk on. Like stairs. Say the turf is stairs. Before you take a step off the little corners or "stairsteps", dig it. Then you have a bomb. level 3: Piecce Of Cake No tricks. No hints. This one's too easy. level 4: All For One Just gotta know how to shoot. level 5: The Ice Cave Don't Let the monks fall on your head (no really!). level 6: Mission 2 tricks to this one. (a) At the beginning, collect all gold possible before bombing your way out. and (b) You can kill the first two monks you encounter. But DO NOT kill the third guy. I you do, you will never win. level 7: Digger Just have to drop all the bombs in the right places. level 8: Pyramid There are two ways to get from one level of the pyramid down to the lower one: to dig down, or to bomb and let the buried bombs do the rest of the work. When going TO the very bottom level, bomb down, so that one of the buried bombs kills one of the two monks down there. then you can take care of the other monk with a gas gun. level 9: Diamond City If theres a big group of monks after you, you can go up a ladder and most of them will turn around while the rest of them follow you up the ladder and when they are all climbing you can just jump off. level 10: Drop a bomb I Dare You this is the hardest level by far out of all my levels. do not kill the monks by bomb!!!!!!! kill them by digging, or trap them. If they are all trapped or dead, and you have gotten all the gold, and the exit still doesn't appear, then you have no choice but to bomb them until you found the one that hasn't given up the gold yet. Grab. The. Gold. And. Run. (With all the bombs setting each other off, your lode runner game may slow down majorly and "Jake", the character in lode runner that you play, may seem to be frozen). level 11: One By One if you have to bomb turf to get through, bomb turf AND monk at the same time. level 12: F I R E The monks, when killed, are VERY likely to fall from the sky right on top of you, so kill as little as possible. Get them all in a line while you shoot the gas gun and they are easy to get past without bombing. level 13: One for all in the beginning, ther is a monk coming from the left. Don't go across the monkey bars until he has 2 or 3 holes to get through. Even across the monkey bars, leave him a few holes to guarantee his death. The rest of the level is simple enough. level 14: Goop Is it possibe to set a bomb in goop and run away on goop without getting blown up? of course, if you are quick enough. level 15: Nuclear Winter (a) at the beginning wait till all the monks are lined up next to the wall. Then set a bomb next to the wall. (b) at the end, there are 2 exits. Which one? the one that is harder to get to. level 16: Trapped As soon as you start dig right, then move left, and dig right again. go up the ladders pick up the trap and set it on top of the top ladder. When the monk is Trapped, walk over the other one and if he is not dead, dig him some holes. level 17: Boom This level may be a little bit difficult, but there aren't any tricks. level 18: Double Drouble Same here. level 19: Nightmare get the gun at top of the ladder as soon as possible. don't pick up any other items unless you know you can get the gun back. level 20: They Keep Coming its okay to leave monks behind. You're going up not down (unless they have gold). level 21: Maze one you get through the "maze" and get all the gold and stuff, go up the ladder, dig four levels down to find 4 buried bombs, get those, and make sure you get the gun on the way down. You won't die without it, but it helps. That's the end, and I hope you enjoy my levels! email me at Avalanche8705@aol.com i probably wont reply unless i want to.
