Here are two level sets I’ve made. Death Match (2 Players).pzl The first and I consider it the best is called Death Match. These levels were made with a drastically different objective in mind, instead of trying to figure out little puzzles and not to accidentally mess up, these levels give you all kinds of fun ammunition to use against the other player. These levels were designed as High-Action levels (similar to a first person action game like Quake). Here is how I suggest you play. Give each player 10 lives and see who lives the longest. Depending on the attitudes of the players, you can do anything from an occasional trap to full-annihilation of the opposite player. Since these levels were designed with this mind set, you don’t usually have to worry about using your bombs and ropes and guns against the other player (there should be plenty for monks as well). I believe this is the most enjoyable way to play Lode Runner. Keep in mind though, that this is Drastically Different then what seems to be the typical mythology. Oh yeah, also you will want to hold down the “F6” key for a minute or two so that the game play is quicker. (I have a PIII 750Mhz and max out the “F6” before I begin play, otherwise it is so s..l..o..w.. Little Bad Guys (2 Players).pzl The second level set Little Bad Guys, I made this for beginners. When I’m teaching a newbie how to play Lode Runner (or for anyone who has never used my mythology before), it helps to have several levels with all the devices and few Mad Monks, so you can gain experience in becoming a Lode Runner. After your skill increases and survival is simplistic, then we move to Death Match, and we have a lot of fun (or at least I do, killing you :). I welcome any feedback on these levels.
